It actually kinda bothered me to put a picture of this girl up, however if there is anyone in this world I did f***ed up things with it was this girl. Which is why she is no longer a part of my life. If I had ever gotten caught doing half the crap she dragged me into I would have ended up in jail for a long time. My life has considerably calmed down since I cut ties with her.

30 Days of truth Day 01
Something you hate about yourself.
It actually took me some thinking to figure out exactly what it is I don't like about myself. I jumped right in and thought "My weight, my appearance" but there aren't a lot of people that are happy with those things.
The thing I hate about myself is that I can't be happy with myself. whether it's my appearance, my self esteem, anything. I just find myself constantly criticizing me. I have a horrible self image, and I never meet my expectations for myself. And I know I'm essentially the only thing holding myself back.
After lots of thought about this answer I realize that I need to better me. I want to look in that mirror and love the person deep inside. I need to become someone that I can be proud of, that I can have confidence in, and that I can be happy with.

My amazing husband. This past year has been pretty horrible for me, I had a lot happen. And from thousands of miles away he got me through it. He's there for me, he's my rock, and I know he'll be there to do the same whenever I need him for the rest of my life.

Me and a couple of my friends were in the Upper Peninsula Of Michigan (it was an absolutely beautiful and relaxing vacation by the way) and we came across a small town party store that had this sign out front. We pulled a U-Turn and had to get a picture!

That would be Kelly Monacho. Reasons, well she's beautiful and plays on my favorite daytime tv show, I would love to be in the set of GH for a day.

Ok I saw a comment made by a fellow Military wife that I just want to pick apart really quick. This was the comment that was made.
"if you don't want me to tell you off please refrain from telling me how sorry you are that my husband is in the army. and fyi no you don't know what I'm going through and no my kids should never HAVE to get use to their dad being gone. that is all"
Ok now.... I don't understand why these women feel it necessary to snap at everyone that tries to relate to them and show their support. She said that her children shouldn't have to get used to their dad being gone... well what the hell do you think that they should just have to struggle with it the whole time he is gone. Because he will undoubtedly be gone for extended periods of time.
Now being married to a man in the Army, I have come across a lot of people that try to relate, say things like "my husband has to go out of town all the time on business trips" blah blah blah. Hunny, you're husband isn't going to war, period. But I still don't find it necessary to blow up on these people because they feel for you.
Bottom line, if this girl doesn't want the normal attention and comments that a military wife will get.... don't tell random people that your husband is military... duh! She just needs to get over herself.

A part time single mom
So I'm having mixed feelings about my husband being home. I am super excited don't get me wrong. But We are both new parents. My husband hasn't met our daughter yet, she is 4 months old. So from the time she was born it has just been me and her, we have a routine and I'm afraid of how to fit my husband into this routine. After being a single mom for four months I am hoping that he can just jump right in and get familiar with how things go for the baby and me. I shouldn't worry about it like I do, I should just be thankful for him to be home. I just want everything to go smoothly for our family. Hopefully I'll be able to have a happy update in a few months.

This Year
This year. EEK!
I get my husband back from Iraq very soon. I'm so excited, it has definitely been a long year for the two of us. He gets to meet our daughter for the first time, which I'm more excited about than seeing him myself. She is absolutely going to melt his heart. I really can't imagine being in his shoes. He said to me one day "I can hear her (on the phone) and I can see pictures, but I can't hold her in my arms and it's killing me" I can't begin to understand how that feels. I just do the best I can by flooding him with pictures and videos of her absolute cuteness, and remind myself that out day will come.
Come June we will be picking up out feet from Kansas and be Moving to Georgia! =D That I am super excited about. I lived in Georgia for a short period of time and I absolutely loved it. Kansas is horrid, and I'll be glad to get away from there.
So after the first half of this year, I'm hoping to get in some awesome family time. Time for us to bond as a family. (Spending lots of time on the beach. WOOHOO) I suppose that's all for now. This just popped my blogger cherry :) Many more hopefully, to come.
